Description
V-belt for working and auxiliary drives of CLAAS combine harvesters
CLAAS V-beltwith catalogue number667249is aflexible component of the drive transmission system, which, thanks to its wedge cross-section, effectively transmits torque and power between pulleys. During operation, the CLAAS V-beltwedges firmly into the grooves, providingefficient, stable and slip-free power transmissioneven under heavy loads.
Typical locations of the 667249 V-belt in combine systems
CLAAS V-beltis used in various areas of harvesting machinery. It can be used in:
- Main working drives, such as the threshing drum drive, straw walkers or winnowing fan.
- Auxiliary systems, including drives for hydraulic pumps, radiator fans, air conditioning compressors and alternators.
- Variator systems– if the belt is part of a system with a variable pitch diameter.
Placement depends on the specific mechanical configuration of the combine harvester model.
Application and functions of the CLAAS V-belt
CLAAS V-belt 667249ensuresreliable power transmission in combine harvester systems, which directly affects the machine's smooth operation. Its primary functions include:
- Power transmission– enables effective torque transmission between pulleys.
- Synchronisation– stabilises component rotational speeds depending on the load and type of work.
- Vibration damping– absorbs some of the vibrations resulting from variable system loads.
- Quiet operation– significant compared to chain solutions, it reduces machine noise.
- Operational safety– in the event of an overload, it can slip, protecting more expensive drive components.
Compatibility of V-belt 667249 with CLAAS models
CLAAS V-belt 667249can be used in many agricultural machines from this brand. Example series where it may occur:
