Catalogue number00 0665 130 0refers tothe header drive clutch, one of the key power transmission components in CLAAS combine harvesters. Thismechanical componentis responsible forengaging and disengaging the drivetransmitted from the combine engine to the cutting unit. Depending on the machine's design, it may be ahydraulic, frictionorelectromagnetic clutch. Its design must ensure smooth operation, overload resistance, and reliability in demanding field conditions.
Location in the agricultural machine
The clutch is locatedat the front of the combine harvester, in the connection area betweenthe header and the feeder house. It is mounted onthe drive shaftor nearby and serves as the power transmission point toheader mechanisms, such asthe cutter bar, reelorconveyor.
