Description
V-belt used in CLAAS combine harvester drive systems
CLAAS V-beltwith catalogue number667981isa flexible drive transmission element, which, thanks to its V-shaped cross-section, enables effective transmission of torque and power between pulleys. During operation, the CLAAS V-beltwedges into the pulley grooves, ensuringslip-free drive transmissionwith minimal energy loss.
Location of V-belt 667981 in an agricultural machine
CLAAS V-beltis widely used in combine harvester drive systems where energy from the engine shaft must be transmitted to working components. Typical areas of occurrence include:
- Main working drives– e.g. threshing drum, straw walkers, cleaning fan.
- Auxiliary drives– such as radiator fans, hydraulic pumps, air conditioning compressors, alternators.
- Variator systems– if the belt functions in a system with variable ratio control.
The exact location depends on the specific machine design and the belt system used.
Application and functions of the CLAAS V-belt
CLAAS V-belt 667981plays a vital role in ensuringcontinuity of operation for mechanically driven components. Its application includes:
- Drive transmission– effective power transmission between shafts and pulleys.
- Synchronisation– maintaining appropriate operating speeds for components.
- Vibration damping– reduction of vibrations and overloads in the drive system.
- Quiet operation– lower noise level compared to chain systems.
- Safe overload– slippage under excessive resistance protects components from damage.
Compatibility of V-belt 667981 with CLAAS models
CLAAS V-belt 667981is used in selected models of CLAAS combine harvesters. Its application depends on the specific drive system variant. Example machine series where it may be found:
- CLAAS LEXION– various models from the 400, 500, 600, 700 series.
- CLAAS TUCANO– selected models from the 300, 400, 500 series.
